"This is the time you see lots of Dog salmon in our creeks close to our communities. They are really big fish. They are not like the average salmon. The Sockeye spawn in lakes, the Spring Salmon in the Fraser, but the Dog Salmon like the little streams and creeks. So, in order for them to get up the stream, they need lots of rain.”
